Volunteer With Us
We Don’t Just Value Volunteers—We Depend on Them
At New Mexico Vets for Pets, volunteers are our most valuable resource. We are a lean, community-driven organization tackling big challenges—and we can’t do it without people who are willing to roll up their sleeves and help.
If you’re looking for a way to make a difference, we have one for you. Right now. Today.
Whether it’s bathing a dog, brushing out a matted coat, loading food for a pop-up, or helping prep the space—we need hands, hearts, and hustle. If you’ve got time, we’ve got work that matters.

Veterans rebuilding their lives through our training and outreach programs
The work is constant. The needs are real. And volunteers help us stretch every dollar and serve every animal—and every household—more fully.
How to Get Started
All of our volunteers are coordinated through the City of Albuquerque Volunteer Portal.
